Well isn’t this just spectacular!? Bon Iver (or “Bonny Bear” according to a handful of ignorant Grammy viewers) jamming with The Roots on Jimmy Fallon. What I would give to have been in the audience that night. Absolutely mind blowingly beautiful!
Was introduced to, and became a fan of The Roots 5 years ago, when I heard The Seed, and I could allllmost credit them with introducing me to the marvels of hip hop (but not quite). Memories of my fifteen-year-old self aside, this performance of Perth, off Bon Ivers self titled album is the best thing that has happened to my eyes and ears all year.
Quest Love is a boss on the drums, so effortless. As is Justin Vernon.
